Description

• Is your project floating around in the idea stage, without a clear path to even begin?

• Has your progress slowed — or stopped — while writing on your own?

• Are you asking yourself, what is this story even about?

It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the process.

It’s easy to abandon ideas, even good ones!

It’s easy to hide scraps of notes and unorganized pages in a drawer.

But your story matters.

Because you’re the only one who can tell it.

Why?

Because no one else has your background, your history, and your point of view.

You are UNIQUE. Your voice is singular and special, and deserves to be heard.

Think of the stories, films, and novels that have meant so much to you — maybe even changed how you view the world, or how you live your life.

What if they didn’t exist?

ALL of those writers felt just like you do now.

These feelings are normal, even for experienced professionals.

A blank page is still a blank page.

And yet, they somehow sat down, alone in a room, and brought their story into the world.

Along the way, they developed craft, honed perseverance, and maybe…sometimes, felt like quitting.

They didn’t. And you don’t have to.

You CAN write your story.

So whether you have an idea, some notes, a draft, it helps to get a professional perspective on what’s next.

In this private, one-to-one session, Karen will offer guidance on ways to approach writing your story so you can:

• Structure the narrative to keep readers engaged
• Lean into your strengths as a writer
• Express yourself in your authentic voice
• Stay out of overwhelm
• Be curious instead of avoidant
• Feel compelled to invest in your story
• Know that it’s possible!

Karen will help you identify the key emotional elements that make up the essence of your story. This is how you begin to see ‘what your story’s about.’

Sometimes the story is hard to see. Karen asks the kinds of questions that invite you to provide the answers. And the answers may surprise you!

The intention for the session is for you to come away with more clarity on your story and how to approach it, in a way that makes sense for you.

You’ll receive focused, personalized attention so you can truly see a clear path to writing your story.

And that will feel SO GOOD!
