A Seven-Night Yoga and Adventure Retreat in Morocco
Join The Wild Times for seven nights of yoga, meditation, sunshine and adventure near Marrakech. Based at a peaceful retreat hotel on the outskirts of a quiet Berber village, you’ll have space to slow down while remaining within easy reach of the city, the Agafay Desert and the Atlas Mountains.
Choose from three 2027 retreat dates:
– March 27–April 3, 2027
– April 3–10, 2027
– October 23–30, 2027
Each retreat runs from Saturday to Saturday and follows the same seven-night itinerary.
Yoga, Rest and Time to Reconnect
Yoga is usually offered twice a day, although the schedule may change on adventure days. Practices include dynamic vinyasa, calming yin, restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra and meditation.
Sessions are led by Jenny Clark, founder of The Wild Times. Jenny creates a relaxed, non-judgemental environment with options for different experience levels. Her classes focus on how your body feels rather than achieving a particular shape and often incorporate natural themes, poetry and meditation.
All activities are optional. You can join everything, choose the experiences that appeal to you or spend more time reading, swimming, resting and enjoying the surroundings.
Explore Marrakech, the Agafay Desert and the Atlas Mountains
Three memorable Moroccan experiences are woven into the retreat.
You can join an optional visit to the souks of Marrakech, with minibus transport included. Explore the markets, wander through the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square and stop for mint tea or lunch on a rooftop.
The group will also travel to the foothills of the Atlas Mountains for a guided 2.5-hour hike beginning at a kasbah, followed by a picnic lunch.
Later in the week, you’ll visit the rocky Agafay Desert for a three-course sunset dinner beneath the canvas.
Your Retreat Setting
The retreat hotel is tucked away from the bustle of Marrakech, around 25 minutes from the city in a small Berber village. The Agafay Desert is approximately 40 minutes away, while the Atlas Mountains can be reached in just over an hour.
The grounds feature two swimming pools, flower-filled gardens, fountains, secret courtyards, rooftops and quiet terraces. There are plenty of peaceful corners where you can read, rest or spend time alone.
An on-site spa offers hammams, massages, facials and other treatments for an additional charge.
Food and Refreshments
Breakfast is served after the morning yoga practice and may include homemade juices, honey, yoghurt, pancakes, locally made bread, cheese, fresh fruit salad and cereals. Omelettes and eggs can be ordered for an additional charge.
Lunch includes a generous buffet of salads accompanied by bread and fruit. Evening meals feature traditional North African dishes prepared by the resident chef and kitchen team.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available on request. Tea and coffee are included at mealtimes. Additional refreshments and alcoholic drinks can be purchased directly from the hotel.
