Boise Thomas

Bio

Boise Thomas is an actor, author, and artist aspiring to impact the world in a similar fashion to the idols of his youth: Shel Silverstein, Fred Rodgers, and, Adam Yauch of Beastie Boys.

As a teen, he began as a radio DJ and television sportscaster. In his mid-20s he left the camera and the mic for a steering wheel, as an American adventure guide.

He fell in love with live performing. In 1997 he moved from the UK to LA to pursue his dream of becoming a comedian and commercial TV actor. He hosted Sunday nights in the Belly Room at The Comedy Store from 2003-2007 and by day booked 144 of 2300 TV commercial auditions as on-camera talent.

He taught his acting techniques to over 4,000 students for a decade. Once repped by CAA, he booked his first audition as a host on Discovery/Planet Green Networks. He took a sabbatical in 2017, traveling to 12 countries while penning his book, How’s Your Heart? A User's Guide for Building a Better Humanity (self-published 2020).

In 2021 he wrote and performed his first studio album as a singer-songwriter, released wherever music is heard, also called How’s Your Heart? (Songs for Building a Better Humanity). In Fall 2022, Boise can be seen in his return to the silver screen in the Big Picture Ranch Feature Film, On Sacred Ground (STARZ and select theaters nationwide).

He is currently working on his second musical album while wrapping the short film With Friendly Thoughts, which he wrote, co-produced, co-directed, and plays both main characters: Albert Einstein and Charlie Chaplin. It inspired him to write a screenplay based on the night they had dinner together with Elsa Einstein in their Berlin flat, titled: Einstein | Chaplin -1933.

Boise lives in Venice with his Savannah Cat, Goji.
