Bio
Ever since Michelle can remember, she had a fascination with seashells and the animals that created them. Although her birth name is Michelle, friends and family have always called her Shelley. It seems that destiny had afforded her the opportunity of discovering her passion, life purpose--and career path--at an early age. As her interest in metaphysics grew, so, too, had her connection to the shells, becoming a shell reader almost 40 years ago.Michelle loves her name because she gets to be a shell. As the “shell with a voice,” and after witnessing first-hand both the transformational power in the visionary messages of the shells and the invaluable lessons they impart, it has been her desire to share their profound wisdom. With this goal in mind, in 2004 she authored “Ocean Oracle; What Seashells Reveal about Our True Nature” (a kit that includes a book and an oracle card deck) and authored a bi-monthly Seashell Divination column in a metaphysical magazine from 2002 until 2004. Those column articles served as a foundation for her second book in 2007, “Ocean Wisdom, Lessons from The Seashell Kingdom”, focusing on seashells as crystals and energy tools, exploring their benefits to body, mind, and spirit. She has also written and narrated two guided-meditation CDs with seashell companions aiding in our spiritual evolution.
In addition to printed materials, she also taught seminars and workshops in North America and the Caribbean highlighting the use of shells as tools for personal empowerment and healing.
She is grateful to be a steward of these master teachings and designed the Ocean Speake online certification program so that others may be introduced to this wisdom as well. Her greatest joy is sharing the guidance from these master teachers. Over the years, she has been quoted in sources as diverse as “Sea Magic” by Sandra Kynes, and the online Hogwarts University. She has also been interviewed on local TV, radio programs and podcasts, and is honored to be called, “The Ambassador from the Seashell Kingdom.”

Fun Fact
I was always a very shy person, so it amazed me the shells would select me to be an ambassador for their wisdom. It is corny to say, but witnessing the way their guidance can transform someone's life, my desire to share their teachings literally brought me out of my shell!!
