Experiences We Offer
The Wild Times creates nature-focused yoga and adventure retreats that help people rest, explore, and rewild. Through yoga, meditation, nourishing food, and time outdoors, each retreat creates space to reconnect with yourself, others, and nature. Choose from restorative UK weekends and longer adventures in Italy, Morocco, Sweden, Slovenia, and France. Experiences may include wild swimming, hiking, saunas, paddleboarding, creative workshops, local food, or time around the fire. The Wild Times also creates bespoke retreats and away days for teams, helping reduce burnout and strengthen human connection. Its wider mission is to help more people experience the restorative power of nature.
Bio
The Wild Times are extraordinary experiences and retreats to help you (or your team) rest, explore, and re-wild.We create and hold nature-focused yoga retreats across the UK and abroad. They are all about connection: to yourself, to others, and to nature - helping guests to deeply rest, ground, re-wild, and remember that we are a part of nature.
The Wild Times was created to have a positive impact on the lives of others, by combining all the things that I love and have always found healing: yoga, meditation, being outside in nature, being in or on the water, disconnecting from screens, walking and talking with others.
We run a wide range of retreats, from long weekends in historic houses in the Lake District with saunas, hiking, and paddle boarding, to digitally detoxing and swimming in the sea off the Welsh coast. We also run retreats abroad, from a week in Morocco visiting the souks, desert, and Atlas Mountains to saunas, silence, and breathwork in the wild forests of Sweden.
We are also focussing more on growing 'The Wild Teams' side of the business - bespoke away days and retreats for businesses, which is where I really think we can scale and add a lot of value. In an increasingly remote and hybrid working world, off-sites and away days are becoming more important. Our team experiences focus on anti-burnout, digital detoxing, proper rest, and connecting, collaborating, and creating as a team.
I am also planning to work with some charities or organizations to take disadvantaged young people out into nature for transformational adventures and retreats - something that is very close to my heart, and that my parents did running an outdoor center when I was a child.
The Wild Times stems from the belief that we are growing increasingly disconnected (from others, ourselves, and from nature) and this is the cause of many problems we face on both a personal and global level. Our retreats & bespoke experiences facilitate this reconnection. Guests and teams learn how to properly, deeply rest and slow down; spend quality time (rather than screen time) with others, push themselves out of their comfort zones, and further know, love, and appreciate the natural world.
